Healthcare Gets a ‘D’ on Cybersecurity Report Card

Earlier this week FierceHealthcare.com printed an article outlining that healthcare security professionals are showing reduced confidence in assessing industry security risks. Tenable, a cybersecurity company in Columbia, Maryland gave the industry an overall “D” grade for the industry in cybersecurity. Technology catastrophes are now the top concern, with an increase in sophisticated data breaches. While there are strengths, such as conveying risks and measuring security effectiveness, weaknesses include assessing emerging technologies and cyber risks.
